CHALLENGE

Founded in 2018, Symple Loans was a new financial services company in Australia offering personal consumer loans through an online application process. Entering a market in which “The Big 4” banks owned a 90% share, they lacked two critical components for success: brand awareness and trust.

INSIGHT & STRATEGIC APPROACH

As a new brand, Symple Loans couldn’t benefit from efficient CPA drivers such as Retargeting and Branded SEM, so we capitalized on their robust customer research to gather target insights. These findings helped us surround qualified prospects with messaging at every stage of their search for loan options.

 

Google SEM / Display: Target prospects whose search and browsing behaviors indicate interest in personal loans

• We crafted custom affinity targets, Google in-market audiences, and AI-powered dynamic ad creative to precisely deliver optimum messaging and timing to Symple Loans’ best prospects.

 

Paid Social: Identify and target users based on their social media profiles

• Capitalized on the expansive reach and granular targeting of Facebook and Instagram, running both feed and story ad types.

• Expanded upper sales funnel tactics through behaviorally defined “Look-a-like” targets – those needing loans for home improvement, car purchases, vacationing, etc. – and leveraged powerful machine learning to aid in campaign optimizations.

 

Rate Comparison Sites: Increased Symple Loans’ media investment visibility and awareness within personal loans listings to efficiently reach prospects who are comparing offers. Generator negotiated for prominent placements across these sites while maintaining efficient costs.

  • Distributed tens of millions of dollars in loans at a CPA 10% under goal
